Do you have drain problems [1] now? Because if you do, it’s almost guaranteed that it’s going to get worse during the holidays. They’re really great times for us all. Don’t let drains get in the way of that.
Keep in mind that this is the busiest time of year for us drain specialists, so in the kitchen, we need to be really careful of water flow and of using that garbage disposal [2] to its full effect. We get in a hurry, start shoving things down there, overloading them: problem. Then there’s other things we put in that really shouldn’t go down at this time and when you’ve got so much volume: coffee grounds, egg shells, any kind of a vegetable that’s stringy like celery, and of course grease.
Another big problem area is the bathrooms. Make sure you have a trash can in there. Your guests don’t want to leave their makeup wipes, their Q-tips and things on the countertop. And guess where they go? Right down the toilet [2]. That’s a really big one for us during the holidays.
If you just think in advance, if you’ve got problems now, let us come out and solve them now, so that that small problem is not a big problem when the house is full of company and the timing is bad. We wish you all the best this holiday season, with no drain problems. And remember: we’re Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air, and nobody wows clients like we do!
